On 18 November 2025, the Common Home of Humanity (CHH) together with Missions Publiques, promoted the online event entitled “World Wide Views on climate and energy, a global citizens’ dialogue held in 2015 for the future on Maloca/Uirapuru multiverse platform, with the support of RedeLuso – Rede Lusófona de Educação Ambiental.

The Maloca multiverse platform aims to host customisable immersive environments for presentations on global climate change.

Ten years after the Paris Agreement, it was felt useful and constructive to further explore this unique worldwide event that took place in 2015 for the COP21: the World Wide Views, a global citizens' dialogue on climate and energy. This event was held on June 6, with 97 debates in 76 countries, involving approximately 10,000 citizens, to foster and support exchanges on climate and energy, and for the first time, to include the usually silent part of the world in international conferences: the citizens. The results served as a global policy-making reference for the 21st Conference of the Parties (COP21) and helped to resolve Climate change issues in 197 countries.

In this event it was proposed to give the most significant outcomes of the debate, with a focus on the results for the Portuguese-speaking countries that took part in this unique citizens' dialogue. The main lessons learned and key results will be used to address current and future challenges in the field of Climate Change.

This event count with the interventions of Yves Mathieu, Co-coordinator of the World Wide Views, from “Missions Publiques”, founder and member of the General Council of CHH, and Bjorn Bedsted, Acting Director of the Danish Board of Technology and Co-coordinator of the World Wide Views - COP21 WWViews. After the introduction, Nathalie Meusy, partner of the event for the European Space Agency, founder and Vice-President of CHH, established the connection between COP21 event and the ESA Citizens debate on space in Europe with key results on citizens and climate as the link with CHH core mission especially in climate.

The debate on the results for the Portuguese-speaking countries and future steps was moderated by Sara Moreno Pires, President of CHH, and involved the following Speakers: Yves Mathieu, CHH/Missions Publiques; Bjorn Bedsted, Danish Board of Technology; Nathalie Meusy, CHH/ESA and Pedro Martins, Rede Lusófona de Educação Ambiental (REDELUSO) - Environmental Education Network of Portuguese Language Countries.
