COP30: Evento no Pavilhão de Portugal promovido pela Proveg Portugal
No dia 20 de novembro de 2025 a Presidente da Casa Comum da Humanidade, Sara Moreno Pires, foi Oradora convidada no evento intitulado “Low Carbon Diet: Portugal and Denmark’s Roadmap to Nature-Friendly Food Systems and the National Gains of Plant-Based Protein”, que se realizou no Pavilhão de Portugal da COP30, em Belém do Pará no Brasil, promovido pela Proveg Portugal.
Este evento teve como objetivo promover dietas à base de vegetais e discutir como transformar os sistemas alimentares. O debate teve como temas principais: os obstáculos e soluções para a implementação de políticas; o papel dos vegetais nos compromissos climáticos, na biodiversidade e na saúde do solo; as lições aprendidas com o Subsídio para Alimentos à Base de Vegetais da Dinamarca e sobre a estratégia climática de Portugal.

COP30: Event on Portugal Pavilion promoted by the Proveg Portugal
On 20 November 2025, the President of the Common Home of Humanity, Sara Moreno Pires, was a guest Speaker at the event entitled “Low Carbon Diet: Portugal and Denmark's Roadmap to Nature-Friendly Food Systems and the National Gains of Plant-Based Protein”, which took place at the Portugal Pavilion at COP30, in Belém do Pará, Brazil, promoted by Proveg Portugal.
This event aimed to promote plant-based diets and discuss how to transform food systems, and the discussion had as key themes: policy implementation hurdles and solutions; the role of legumes in climate commitments, biodiversity, and soil health; lessons from Denmark's Plant-Based Food Grant and about Portugal's climate strategy.
