On World Environment Day, June 5, Paulo Magalhães, Founder of the Common Home of Humanity, was awarded first prize in the Inspiration category in the Green Awards VISION + Group Águas de Portugal.
This initiative aims at rewarding individuals, companies and organisations that stand out in Portugal in the environmental area, and has the support of the Portuguese President.
The award ceremony took place at the Alcântara Water Factory and was inaugurated by the Portuguese Minister of the Environment, Duarte Cordeiro. This initiative received 150 applications for the 10 categories in competition.
Representing Paulo Magalhães and Common Home of Humanity, EurOcean's Executive Director, Sérgio Bryton, who nominated and was on behalf of Paulo Magalhães receiving this award.
