COP30 – Documentary “We are Guardians”

Durante a COP30, a Presidente Sara Moreno Pires e o Diretor Executivo Paulo Magalhães, tiveram a oportunidade de assistir ao filme “We are Guardians" e o privilégio de conhecer a grande guerreira indígena e Secretária de Estado do Pará para os Povos Indígenas, Puyr Tembé.

"Somos Guardiões" é uma história de esperança e resiliência no meio da crise que se desenrola. Através de inúmeras vozes, este premiado documentário oferece uma visão crua e íntima da vida daqueles que vivem mais próximos da Amazónia e descobre as camadas desta situação crítica para revelar uma história que, em última análise, afeta-nos a todos. Dirigido por Edivan Guajajara, Chelsea Greene e Rob Grobman, e produzido pelo vencedor do Oscar Fisher Stevens, com Leonardo DiCaprio atuando como Produtor Executivo, o filme é uma exploração do espírito humano e de nossa responsabilidade coletiva em proteger o frágil equilíbrio de nosso mundo. During COP30, CHH´ President Sara Moreno Pires and Executive Director Paulo Magalhães, had the opportunity to watch the film "‘We are Guardians" and the privilege of meeting the great indigenous warrior and Secretary of State of Pará for Indigenous Peoples, Puyr Tembé. 

“We Are Guardians” is a story of hope and resilience in the middle of an unfolding crisis. Through a tapestry of voices, this award-winning documentary provides a raw and intimate look at the lives of those closest to the Amazon and peels back the layers of this critical situation to reveal a story that ultimately affects all of us.
